(a merger of "Xanadu" and "Dagis"), originally founded in 1991 (see 25 years), is an Autodesk Partner (MFG+AEC+M&E), Autodesk Training Center, Autodesk Developer Network member, Autodesk Consulting Services partner and the leading CAD and GIS supplier in the Czech and Slovak Republics and Hungary with about 24.5 mil. Euro revenues in the year 2019. The company has currently 120 full-time employees in six locations in Czechia - Ceske Budejovice (Budweis), Prague, Brno, Pardubice, Ostrava, Plzen (Pilsen), two in Slovakia - Bratislava and Zilina and in Budapest, Hungary.

History:

• January 1991, CAD Studio s.r.o. was founded.
• On 1.10.2000 CAD Studio becomes a member of the AAC holding (Rocheby, see FAQ). Consolidated turnover of AAC holding in the year 2004 was about 270 mil. USD.
• In October 2002, CAD Studio has acquired the i-Systems company and changed the company name to Xanadu s.r.o. See more information.
• On 1.1.2005 Xanadu has acquired the Dialog MTS company and changed the company name to AAC Solutions s.r.o.
• In December 2005, company management performs a buyout and AAC Solutions branches off the Rocheby (AAC) holding
• On 17.1.2006 company returns to the XANADU name
• On 15.4.2006 company changes its legal form to "a.s." (Ltd.->Inc.)
• On 1.11.2010 XANADU and DAGIS merge to the new company - CAD Studio a.s.
• On 1.2.2011 CAD Studio opens offices in Slovakia
• On 15.2.2012 CAD Studio elevates its partnership to the level Autodesk Platinum Partner
• On 1.6.2018 CAD Studio acquires A|W Graph
• On 1.8.2018 company changes its legal form to "s.r.o." (Inc.->Ltd.)
• On 1.6.2019 CAD Studio acquires activities of CAD CAM Systems and t-cimco
• On 2.1.2020 CAD Studio acquires activities of Varinex (Hungary)
• On 2.6.2020 CAD Studio joins the European group ARKANCE

CAD Studio has developed Czech versions of AutoCAD R13/R14/2000/i/2002/2004/2005, Mechanical Desktop, AutoCAD Mechanical, Map, AutoCAD LT, Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, Revit Building+Architecture, Autodesk World, 3D Studio, 3D Studio VIZ+MAX, AutoSketch, Actrix Technical and WorkCenter for Autodesk. As a Autodesk Registered Developer and ADN member, CAD Studio has developed many CAD applications and utilities for AutoCAD, Inventor and 3D Studio (GEO-apps, terrain-modelling, 3D Ducting, EE-fonts, conversion utilities, animation controller, LAN, ADI drivers...).
